Good to know before you start.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign up, build your site and take bookings free for 14 days. You only choose a plan if you want to keep going.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you have not picked a plan, your site shows that online booking is paused. Nothing is deleted: your services, clients and bookings are all there when you subscribe.
How is BookVAO different from a booking marketplace?
A marketplace gives you a profile inside its own app, next to other businesses, and usually charges for the clients it sends. BookVAO gives you a website of your own: clients book with you directly, they stay your clients, and nobody takes a commission. You bring the clients you already have from Google, Instagram and word of mouth, and you keep all of what they pay.
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
Never. BookVAO is one flat monthly price, with unlimited bookings and clients. There is no commission and no charge per client.
Which plan do I need?
Solo is for one person working on their own. Team covers up to 5 bookable people, with their own logins and a front desk login, your own domain and no BookVAO line on your site. Salon has no limit on people. The free trial gives you the Team plan's room, so you can set everyone up before you choose.
Is the mobile app extra?
No. The BookVAO app for iPhone and Android is included in every plan, for you and for the team members you give a login.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on the Team and Salon plans. Point your domain at us and your site runs on yourbusiness.com with a secure certificate, and without the BookVAO line in the footer.
My kind of business is not listed. Will it work?
